A dream collaboration dinner with two Michelin-starred chefs
Innovative “SHIROUX” will host an intimate dinner with two Michelin-starred chefs for one night only on Wednesday July 26. Featured chefs include, Vicky Cheng from “VEA” and “WING” in Hong Kong and Hiroyasu Kawate, from Florilege in Tokyo and also a consulting chef at Innovative “SHIROUX.”
Born in Hong Kong and raised in Canada, Vicky Cheng showcases a unique culinary philosophy of “Chinese x French” at “VEA” which opened in 2015. He honed his skills, positioning “VEA” to earn a Michelin star and multiple accolades in ‘Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants’ list. In 2021, his latest venture, ‘WING,’ soared to the 37th position in the esteemed list for 2023. Combining his expertise in Western techniques with the rich heritage of China’s eight representative cuisines, Vicky Cheng presents refined and artistic dishes that pay homage to tradition while breathing new life into culinary artistry.
Moreover, Chef Hiroyasu Kawate, a globally recognized figure of the two Michelin starred Florilege in Tokyo and the creative force behind Innovative "SHIROUX" since the opening of Halekulani Okinawa, weaves the theme of ‘old is new’ into his innovative gastronomy.
