Our Commitment to Our Guests

The safety and wellbeing of our guests, staff and community is our utmost priority. Please be assured that the management of Halekulani Okinawa has instituted the highest level of health and safety protocols and procedures, in accordance with international, national and local authorities in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Out of an abundance of caution, and in consultation with an infectious disease specialist, we have enhanced our preventative health measures, including increased cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms, food and beverage outlets, public areas and ventilation systems.

Prior to our reopening of the hotel on Monday, June 1st, 2020, we have entered into a collaboration with ECOLAB, a leading global corporation regarding hygiene and disinfection solutions to validate our new “Health and Safety Program” against various types of infections including COVID-19.

ECOLAB, specialized in highly reliable knowledge and scientific approach for cleaning protocols and hygiene management, has provided approximately 300 hotel staff with training on high level of standards of housekeeping and hygiene programs.

We continue to take care of our guests while ensuring that they feel safe and reassured.
